Kaskade – Behind the Scenes at Marquee Las Vegas

Chicago born, California based and Las Vegas resident DJ, Kaskade is one of our favorites. Ryan Maddon by birth, Kaskade had an astounding 2011 with the release of the double album Fire & Ice, a massive BBC Radio1 Essential Mix and headlining the inaugural Identity Festival that toured the United States over the summer as the major highlights.

Kaskade spent his New Year’s Eve with the good folks at Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas, NV, the location of his latest residency, and before you ask: yes, we’re jealous we missed it. Check out a very cool behind the scenes video above and his Essential Mix below (the track list is after the jump) – enjoy!

New Year's Eve @ The Hyatt Downtown w/ HYPE Nightlife

We don’t want you to think NYC was the only place to be on New Year’s Eve – we’re sure each and every one of you knew of an event in your corner of the world with bumping bass, flowing drinks and endless celebration. Some of the folks we work with over at HYPE Nightlife here in Boston threw a helluva party at the Hyatt Downtown, and below is the video to prove it. If you’re looking for night-time goodies in Beantown and you’re not following HYPE, you should probably fix that.

Avicii Live on NYE from Pier 94, NYC

Welcome to 2012, party people – hope all of your celebrations went well with plenty of beats and dancing. New Year’s plans can range from tame to crazy, but arguably one of the hottest places to be on 1/31 of 2011 was Pier 94 in New York City. The peerless Avicii along side Arty and Swanky Tunes, among others, delivered a night to remember, and we’ve got the live sets for you below.
